Pakistan Hotels Association hosted a focused group discussions meeting at Movenpick Hotel Karachi on November 21, 2017 with USAID Small & Medium Enterprise Activity Sector Specialist and its team. SMEA is a project implemented by Chemonics International and its partners. SMEA project aims to improve the financial and operational performance of SMEs in Pakistan in six focus sectors including Hospitality. Focus of group discussions was to assess the challenges and opportunities in hospitality sector involving sector players, Associations, Academia and Training institutes. On behalf of PHA, its Chairman, Mr. Zubair Surti, Executive Committee Members, Ms. Saleemullah Sheikh, Mohammad Emaduddin, Mr. Aslam Khan, Mr. Ather Bhutto and Secretary General attended the meeting, whereas Mr. Kamran Atif Khan and Ms. Shagufta Saeed represented USAID SMEA Pakistan.
